Danny Burton of Florida Injured, DTD Friday, August 17th, 2029 Is Danny Burton going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out one week as the outstanding Florida left fielder attempts to shrug off a bruised shoulder he sustained running the bases against the London Underground. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Burton feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the Florida Featherheads will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. So far this season Burton has put up a .374 batting average with 144 hits, 25 home runs and 98 RBIs. |
