San Antonio-Hartford Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, August 12th, 2029 If there wasn't a history between Bryan Cleveland of San Antonio and Kojiro Hirose of Hartford, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 8 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Cleveland said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this season Cleveland is batting .239 with 12 home runs. In 8 starts this year Hirose has posted 2 wins while suffering 1 loss. He has pitched 44.2 innings, allowed 45 hits, struck out 25 and has a 3.63 ERA. |
