Done Deal: Pinksen for Neely Monday, July 30th, 2029 In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the Aurora Borealis have swapped 30-year-old minor league 2B Bob Pinksen, 21-year-old minor league RHP Theo Holder and 23-year-old minor league CF Mario Flores to the San Antonio Calzones of Laredo for 26-year-old RHP Richard Neely. The Borealis GM told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it." Presently Pinksen is batting .250 with no home runs and 4 RBIs. He has played in 16 games and scored 6 times. Over the season Neely has thrown 135 innings and dished out 78 strikeouts with a 8-8 mark and a 3.00 ERA. |
