West Virginia Alleghenies Ship Moreno to Yuma Monday, July 30th, 2029 Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in West Virginia and Yuma as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 27-year-old RHP Fernando Moreno to the Bulldozers and 32-year-old minor league 3B Fred Jones to the Alleghenies. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the Yuma GM. Jones has registered a career batting average of .230 with 218 hits, 0 homers and 57 RBIs. |
