Díaz on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, June 25th, 2029 Roberto Díaz made quite a splash in the Sovereign League this past week. The Okinawa Shisa shortstop drilled opposing pitchers for 11 hits in 26 at-bats to roll up a .423 batting average and the Sovereign League Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. This year Díaz is batting .285 with 10 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
