SL Player of the Week Goes to Patton of Okinawa Monday, June 18th, 2029 Tom Patton of Okinawa was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the Sovereign League. He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .560 batting average, going 14 for 25 with 1 home run, 2 RBIs and scoring 7 times. This season Patton is swinging the bat at a .318 rate with 89 hits in 280 at-bats. To date he has hit 12 home runs, scored 54 runs and driven in 32. |
