SL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Friday, June 1st, 2029 Pablo Ortíz's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Palm Springs second baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In May he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .238 with 2 doubles, no triples and 4 home runs. Ortíz also scored 10 times and drove in 18 runs. For the year Ortíz is batting .252 with 6 home runs, 29 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
