Canton Longshoremen Ship Gregory to Manchester Monday, May 14th, 2029 It came down to the last hour of a self-imposed trade deadline, but the Canton Longshoremen and Manchester Maulers finally came to an agreement on a trade that had been rumored for weeks. The trade sends Canton's 30-year-old LHP Anthony Gregory to Manchester in a swap for a 4th round draft pick. Both GMs seemed relieved that the deal had been completed with one stating, "We had to set a deadline to get it done." The players are expected to report to their new teams by tomorrow. On his career ledger Gregory has a 2-4 record with a 2.74 ERA. In 94 games he has recorded 5 saves and the 30-year-old has 55 strikeouts in 69 innings of work. |
