Yuma will get a 1st round draft pick with Crystal Lake receiving 30-year-old 3B Hai-liang Choe and $16,000,000 in cash in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. This year Choe is hitting .300, produced 0 RBIs and 0 home runs, scored 1 times and gotten on base at a .364 rate. |
