Badgers Luis Gusmán Will Miss Season Saturday, September 9th, 2028 Luis Gusmán has to call it a season. The Kalamazoo Badgers starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Bakersfield Bears and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Gusmán was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 13 months. This year Gusmán has a 2-10 mark in 12 starts with a 5.85 ERA. He has given up 104 hits in 95.1 innings, struck out 66 and issued 32 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .272 batting average against him. |
