Big Day with Bat: Nagai 5-for-5 Monday, July 31st, 2028 Neo-Tokyo right fielder Yasuhiro Nagai had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Shin Seiki Evas at Neo-Tokyo Grounds as the Akira picked up a 12-2 victory. "He was patient up there today," Neo-Tokyo skipper Shinichi Seki told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Nagai has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Yasuhiro Nagai doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
