Bears, Shisa Make Trade Monday, July 31st, 2028 There were plenty of hugs and handshakes all around as 22-year-old minor league C Rivelino Prado, 20-year-old minor league LHP Kosami Suzuki, 19-year-old minor league LHP Sa-yoor Ch'oe, a 3rd round draft pick and a 5th round draft pick left the Bakersfield Bears today en route to joining the Okinawa Shisa organization. 29-year-old 1B Alex Bothwell will be traveling to Bakersfield Bears to complete the swap. So far this season Bothwell is batting .286 with 28 home runs, 58 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 114 hits in 399 at-bats, 40 walks and a .352 OBP. Bothwell has played in 103 games. |
