Díaz Shuts Out Yuma Wednesday, June 28th, 2028 Edgardo Díaz kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Aurora Borealis were all smiles after winning 3-0 against the Yuma Bulldozers at John Deere Stadium today. The right-handed Díaz gave up no runs in his start, permitted 5 hits and had 4 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Díaz said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." Díaz has made 15 starts, tossed 91.2 innings, struck out 49 batters and walked 25. His record is 10-3 with a 3.53 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .235 batting average.
