May's #1 Starter Named in SL Thursday, June 1st, 2028 Erik Watson hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Sovereign League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In May the Bakersfield starter earned a 5-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 40 innings, struck out 28 and compiled a solid 1.12 ERA. On the season Watson has compiled a 7-3 mark with a 2.99 ERA in 11 starts. In pitching 69.1 innings he has 47 strikeouts and 11 walks while limiting the opposition to a .217 batting average. |
