League Suspends Okinawa's Lee
Monday, May 29th, 2028
Michael Lee's disrobing act in yesterday's loss to the Bakersfield Bears at The Chocolate Factory at Yum! Field cost him a 4-game suspension. The league office informed the Okinawa Shisa today that their third baseman would be suspended for "his poor conduct and unacceptable behavior that made a farce out of the game."

After being called out on strikes, Lee was ejected by the home plate umpire after a heated and animated discussion. In protest for the ejection, he proceeded to throw his bat down, take off his batting gloves, cap, shirt, socks and shoes and left them at home plate, refusing to pick them up.

Asked about the suspension, Lee sheepishly told reporters, "I did a stupid and embarrassing thing. Let's just leave it at that."

Lee currently has a .238 batting average with 45 hits, 16 homers, 47 RBIs, 25 runs scored and a .251 OBP.
