SL Star of the Week Honored Monday, May 15th, 2028 It was an extraordinary week for Yakamochi Kobayashi of the Kalamazoo Badgers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .484, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Sovereign League. Last week Kobayashi went 15-for-31, racked up 4 home runs and 10 RBIs and scored 7 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Kalamazoo third baseman. In his stats this season, Kobayashi has posted a batting average of .294 with 45 hits in 153 at-bats, 8 home runs and 23 RBIs. He has also scored 20 runs, walked 2 times and compiled a .299 OBP. |
