McGuire Hits in 20 Straight Games Tuesday, August 10th, 2027 Warriors center fielder Bruce McGuire has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-3 in today's game against the Bakersfield Bears. Duluth won the ballgame 6-1. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Bruce McGuire walked in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Declan Littleworth in the 6th and struck out in the 7th. For the year McGuire is batting .306 with 129 hits and 27 home runs.
