Setback For Akira and Júlio Díaz Tuesday, June 22nd, 2027 Júlio Díaz, starting pitcher for the Neo-Tokyo Akira, was making great progress in healing a strained back muscle according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Júlio was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least one week before he will be able to rejoin the club." On his stats sheet for the year Díaz shows a 4-6 record, 15 starts, 84 innings, 60 strikeouts and a 2.46 ERA. |
