Duluth Warriors Capture Planetary Extreme Championship Wednesday, November 11th, 2026 The Duluth Warriors were good enough to get past the Kentucky Thoroughbreds at Raceway Park today and secure the 1st championship in franchise history. "When you wear Warriors on your shirt, you're good at something," Duluth skipper Mark Kierstead told the press. Warriors designated hitter Ieyoshi Ishikawa was named MVP of the series after he went .500 with no home runs and 3 runs batted in. "It feels totally incredible," Ishikawa said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment." The new champions capped off a great season with a 7-6 victory over the Thoroughbreds to win the Planetary Extreme Championship 4-3.
