Reno's Benton Sidelined for Season Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 The season is ending on a bad note for Mal Benton, reliever for the Reno Zephyrs. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Benton was hurt against the Bakersfield Bears while throwing a pitch. He suffered shoulder inflammation and will be out for at least 6 months. |
