Kentucky-Palm Springs Announce Swap Friday, January 16th, 2026 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Kentucky and Palm Springs have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 27-year-old minor league RHP Ricardo Martínez to the Codgers with a 5th round draft pick joining the Thoroughbreds. Kentucky's general manager would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. For his career Martínez has held opponents to a .270 batting average and put up a 5.60 ERA. He has saved 6 games and owns a 6-5 record. |
