3-Game Suspensions for Torres-Thomas Fight Sunday, October 5th, 2025 When fights happen, suspensions are not far behind. That axiom was held to be true today when Scottish's Francisco Torres and Havana's Glenn Thomas were given a temporary vacation from the game, courtesy of the league commissioner's office. They both were suspended for 3 games for their actions in a recent ruckus between the two teams. Both benches cleared when Torres charged Thomas. Both players have accepted their fate and will begin serving their suspensions immediately. Neither would talk to reporters about the confrontation. For the year Torres is batting .258 with 132 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 51 times and driven in 47. Thomas has posted a 7-9 record for the year with a 3.80 ERA. Teams are hitting .229 against him and he has rung up 117 strikeouts in 144.1 innings. |
