Amsterdam's Jacobs to Miss Season Saturday, July 19th, 2025 Eric Jacobs has to call it a season. The Amsterdam Lions third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the San Juan Coqui and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Jacobs was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn anterior cruciate ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9 months. Jacobs is swinging at a .228 pace on the year with 5 home runs, 37 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has played in 87 games. |
