The Leon Zapateros went home winners at Ballpark of León, thanks in large part to starter Juan Flores. Flores stifled the Zapopan Torrenas, enabling Leon to grab the 4-1 win. With the win, Leon goes to 34-45, while the Torrenas fall to 50-29.

Leon took a 3-1 lead on Andrés Hernández's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Zapopan pitcher Ramón Apodaca in the bottom of the seventh.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Leon manager Juan Rodríguez.
