Badgers Upend Zephyrs, 2-0
|
In a low-scoring contest, Kalamazoo pitcher Bartolo Mojica was marvelous in his team's 2-0 win. Adam Geake notched his 2nd save in 7 chances. After today's action, Kalamazoo sits at 32-28; Reno slips to 35-24.
Kalamazoo used a well-timed hit by Jason Box to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Badgers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
Box attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
