Sacramento starter Steve Struck pitched well against the Long Beach Oilers at Ballpark of Queens. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-1. Lawrence Adams earned the save, his 21st, for the Deltas. With the win, the Deltas improved to 39-32.
Sacramento relied on the hitting of Hong-bo Qing to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Deltas on top, 3-1. For the game, Qing had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
