Orcas Get 2-0 Win Versus Boise
|
Pitcher Kiyotaka Kataoka was rock solid in helping the Victoria Orcas beat the Boise Remuda, 2-0. Victoria currently is in 4th place in the Humboldt at 30-29.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Mark de Vries didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Boise trailing 2-0, de Vries retired Michael Hanson to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said de Vries, with a wink.
