Camels Make Industrialists 3-0 Losers
|
The Brampton Camels picked up a win at Hamilton Grounds, courtesy of Kuang Tann. The right-hander helped his team stop the Hamilton Industrialists, 3-0. The winning pitcher was Tann, now 4-6. He tossed 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. The save was credited to Alfredo Domínguez, his 13th.
Brampton used the timely hitting of Oswald Frenzel to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Camels on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Frenzel told the Brampton Chronicle.
Brampton is 5th in the Pacific Alliance Maple Leaf with a record of 31-41.
