Manny Lara said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Medicine Hat Municipal Stadium, and it showed in the box score. The Seoul catcher had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Medicine Hat Drillers, leading his club to victory, 25-6.

"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Lara said later."

Manny Lara hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Dave Hyde in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Gerard Brayley in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 8th.

So far this year Lara has hit .262 with 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and 34 runs scored.
