Tijuana Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Tijuana Saguaros picked up a win at Target Field, knocking off the Calexico Reins, 6-5. On the mound for Tijuana was left-hander Aurelio Cortéz, who played a pivotal role in the win. Tijuana reliever Jorge De Los Santos picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Shumei Sakei was saddled with the loss. The victory makes Tijuana 19-39.

Fernando Martínez was the walk-off hero for Tijuana. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Saguaros third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was jumping at the end," Martínez said.
