Deltas Knock Off Remuda at Boise Ballpark

Led by Cisco Alemán, the Sacramento Deltas defeated the Boise Remuda, 7-4. Alemán was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Deltas. Sacramento reliever Les Harding picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jesús Merlano absorbed the loss. Sacramento is third in the Humboldt with a record of 18-15.
The win was a team effort for Sacramento. Second Baseman Álex Heredia was among the key contributors. In the top of the second, he put his team in front, 3-1, when he hit a 2-run single.
"I still think this team can play even better," Heredia told the Sacramento Times.
