Red-Hot Water Buffalo Win 8th Straight

The Manila HS Water Buffalo did just enough to sneak past the Hsinchu HS Shock, 4-3, at Manila Field. Manila HS pitcher Takanobu Goto, in particular, had a standout performance. At 12-4, the Water Buffalo are currently third in the Pacific Conference Oceanic Division.
Yoshimochi Murayama was the walk-off hero for Manila HS. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Water Buffalo designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"We're playing like gangbusters right now," said Goto.
