The home crowd had a good time watching the Ohio State Scarlet Brutes and West Virginia Sherpas get after it.
Right-hander David Green mesmerized the Ohio State Scarlet Brutes while leading the West Virginia Sherpas to a 2-0 victory. Jonathan Walker finished to wrap up his 3rd save.
The Sherpas had to work out of trouble with no one out in the top of the ninth. The score was 2-0, West Virginia. But Ohio State, with runners on 1st and 2nd, had mounted a threat. Bill Carter dug in at the plate. But on a 2-1 fastball, Carter lined out.
With this game in the books, West Virginia is 22-25, Ohio State 17-30.
