Another day, another victory for the red-hot Ohio State Scarlet Brutes.

The Ohio State Scarlet Brutes had to overcome a good performance from Marshall pitcher John Gentry to claim a 3-2 win at Ballpark of Ohio State. Gentry went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Artie McKee, 2-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings.

The Scarlet Brutes relied on first baseman Mauro Cuevas for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.

"This place was electric at the end," Cuevas said.

The wins continue to add up for Ohio State, with the latest making it 8 in a row.
