Extra-Inning Win by Claymores Over Trendsetters
Fans who congregated at New Frontier Park were treated to extra-inning drama.

Scottish second baseman Eric Nelson contributed to his team's 7-5 win over the New Orleans Trendsetters. Nelson, who is on pace for 154 RBI this season, went 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Claymores. With the win, Scottish raised its record to 25-14.

Scottish used the clutch hitting of Bernardo Mendoza to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Claymores the lead, 5-4. For the game, Mendoza had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

In postgame remarks, Nelson simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
