Bears Take Down Rushmores, 7-6
The Rapid City Rushmores and Birmingham Bears delighted fans at Ballpark of Birmingham.

Behind a fine performance from Okakura Oshima, the Birmingham Bears knocked off the Rapid City Rushmores, 7-6. Oshima went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Bears. The last-place Bears raised their record to 37-46.

The Bears got a clutch hit from left fielder Okakura Oshima. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bears.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Oshima said.
