Fort Wayne shortstop José Dacal had a good game, even if his team did not. The Pioneers dropped a 6-5 decision to Drumright at Ballpark of Drumright. Dacal went 2-5 with a triple and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Drumright reliever Ignacio Bermúdez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Cristóbal Ayala took the loss. Fort Wayne is 2-7 after the defeat.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Drumright trailing 5-4, Chua chay Ru jumped on a first pitch splitter from Cristóbal Ayala for a 2-run home run, sending the Tornadoes to a walk-off win.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Ru said after the game.
