No one was more impactful than Spencer Matthews in the 8-5 Narragansett win over Delaware. Matthews, who is tied for 3rd in the ATAL with a .388 on-base percentage, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Colm Stanbra earned the save, his 36th, for the Seagulls. The second-place Seagulls have a record of 86-51.

Narragansett used the timely hitting of Quentin Shenton to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Seagulls ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
