Akira Knock Off Warriors, 4-3
|
Neo-Tokyo starter Ben Littleworth pitched well against the Duluth Warriors at Neo-Tokyo Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Alfonso Ramos, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits. The win gives the Akira a record of 12-18.
The Akira beat the Warriors with some clutch hitting. The single by Chris Davis in the bottom of the seventh is a good example. With two down, Davis gave his team the lead, 4-3, when he came through with the big hit.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Neo-Tokyo manager Norihisa Shibutani.
