Well, that's how to end a game in style.

The Monterey Sea Lions beat the Den Bosch Dykes, 6-5, in part because of right fielder Rick Thomas. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. José Nufio earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 1-0.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Thomas hit a fastball from Rubén Chávez for a run-scoring single. The Sea Lions, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
