Ryosei Kichida pitched well, but his team, the Glendale Skyelanders, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the Namuko Puckmen at Puckmen Ballpark. Joe Hollins closed it out for his 2nd save. With the loss, Glendale sinks to 7-2.

The Puckmen got a big at-bat from third baseman Adam Ugurlu. For the game, Ugurlu was 1-3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Namuko a 2-1 lead.

"Bottom line," said Glendale skipper Michael Johnson, "we didn't play well enough to win."
