Fayetteville took on Beantown in front of a lively crowd.

Dan Berry never let the Browns get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Braggarts to a win, 5-0. Berry, now 4-11, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no runs.

The Braggarts got an important contribution from shortstop Shane Bowman, who in the top of the second punched a 1-1 cutter into right-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Braggarts ahead, 2-0.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Berry.

With the win, the Braggarts improved to 52-55.
