9-2 Loss to Golden Sands Extends Fayetteville Losing Streak
Randall Perry led Aberdeen to a win over Fayetteville. The final score was 9-2. Perry scored 3 times, while going 3 for 4. The right fielder also was credited with 1 RBI. Kyle Maynard, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. Aberdeen is now 26-52.

The Golden Sands got a big hit from first baseman Anthony Gamble. In the bottom of the fifth, Gamble pounded a run-scoring double to right. His 8th double of the season put the Golden Sands ahead, 3-1.
