Guerrero Rips 2 Home Runs in 5-1 El Dorados Triumph
|
Wilson Guerrero knocked in all 5 runs for the Raleigh El Dorados, helping them beat the Santo Domingo Tourists, 5-1. Raleigh is 5th in the Appalachian Mountain League East with a record of 31-32.
Guerrero had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Tim Baker, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the El Dorados a 3-0 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Guerrero.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Guerrero.
