The London Underground picked up a win at Pearson Metropolitan Park, knocking off the Arlington Bureaucrats, 3-0. On the mound for London was right-hander Dave Robertson, who played a pivotal role in the win. Robertson picked up the win for London, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. The save went to Carlos Gallegos, his 1st this season.
The Underground got an important contribution from right fielder Eichiro Nakashima, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a full count fastball into left-center for a solo home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Underground ahead, 2-0.
"Come up with some new questions," snapped losing manager Spencer Austin to reporters, "and I'll come up with some new answers."
Arlington is 4-12 after the loss.
