The Beantown Browns and Aberdeen Golden Sands completed their game despite the rain.

The Beantown Browns beat the Aberdeen Golden Sands, 9-5, at Gold Street Park. The Browns got a fine performance from left fielder Bert Loetzsch, who went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 3. Beantown reliever Roy Little picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Henry Spencer shouldered the loss.

It could have been a different outcome for Beantown, had it not been for Camiel Human, the 24-year old right fielder . Human contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Beantown up, 6-5.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Loetzsch said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The Browns' win now puts them at 28-12.
