Evansville Gets 8-4 Win
The Evansville Tri-Staters topped the Newport News Anchormen by a score of 8-4. Leading the way was catcher Akio Sakamoto. Sakamoto was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Tri-Staters. Rob Patel, the winning pitcher, is now 3-1. He went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 5.
