Aberdeen got a terrific game from right fielder Randall Perry. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Fayetteville, 7-6. Perry went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Thomas Casillas came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 2-2. The win elevated the Braggarts to 18-17.

Fayetteville left fielder Joe Flores made his contribution to the Braggarts cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the day, Flores went 1 for 3.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Braggarts manager Cristóbal Pacheco. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
