Jones Lifts Underground to 10-3 Triumph
The London Underground topped the Kentucky Thoroughbreds, 10-3, with shortstop Bill Jones playing a big role. Jones was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Underground in the win. The win takes London to 8-5.

The Underground got a lift from second baseman Miguel Fernández, who in the top of the fourth stroked a 1-1 fastball into center for a 2-run single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Underground ahead, 5-1.

"Winning never gets old," said Fernández.
