Locomotives Defeat Anchormen, 4-2
Leeds Locomotives starter Jin-woo Dan turned in a top-notch performance against the Newport News Anchormen at Rhino Park. The result was a win for the Locomotives, 4-2. Jason Romero earned the save for Leeds, his 1st of the year. The win gives the Locomotives a record of 8-6.

Ángelo Álvarez chipped in for Leeds with a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Álvarez.
